We Build Your Lab. Then We Hand You the Keys.
Most cannabis consultants create dependency. You keep paying them. You keep buying their clones. You never learn to do it yourself. We took the opposite approach. Every engagement we take on is designed to make you self-sufficient. We design your lab, train your team, document every protocol, and then step back. You run it. You own it. You profit from it.
What We Actually Do
Collective Herb Consulting helps commercial cannabis cultivators build and launch in-house tissue culture labs. From clean room design to your first Gen-0 harvest, we handle the full build-out: lab layout, equipment sourcing, construction oversight, hands-on training, protocol development, and commissioning. We also recover contaminated or underperforming labs and optimize existing cultivation systems.

Every lab we build comes with turnkey SOPs, contamination tracking systems, and a trained team ready to produce clean genetics independently.
Who's Behind It
David Stormzand started Collective Herb after 15+ years working inside commercial cannabis operations across California, Colorado, Oregon, and Michigan. He's been on the cultivation floor, in the tissue culture lab, and in the boardroom.
Before launching Collective Herb, David served as Director of Customer Success at one of the top cannabis tissue culture labs in the country. He oversaw 150+ client facility visits, led plant pathology testing, and worked directly with R&D and production teams. Before that, he launched CuraLeaf's first recreational operation (10,000 sq ft build-out) and managed cultivation programs from seed to sale.

He's trained dozens of teams on sterile technique, micropropagation, and genetics banking. He knows what works at scale because he's done it at scale.
Why It Matters
Clean genetics aren't optional anymore. HLVd is everywhere. Clone vendors are inconsistent. Mother rooms are expensive and vulnerable. The growers who control their own genetics pipeline are the ones scaling profitably. We help you become one of them.
